Lizzie Borden took an ax…
Once upon a time, not so very long ago, a few Fools (a few Motley Fools, that is) were enjoying tea and dessert at The Old Hotel Bistro on a perfect Saturday afternoon. While there, The Fools happened to meet executive chef Jim Pacini. The Fools and The Chef got to talking: About food. And wine. And special events. When the Fools told The Chef about their current project (holding theatrical events to raise money for their friend’s adoption efforts), The Chef pointed to a picture on the opposite end of the room. It was of two children. His grandchildren, who were also adopted.
The rest, as they say, is history.
“Blood Relations” by Sharon Polluck is a Victorian psychological murder mystery, based on the life of Lizzie Borden. It is the perfect autumn play and we’ve put together the perfect cast to showcase it .
Please join us, October 27th-29th, for a dinner theater event that will tickle your taste buds and send chills down your spine. The $50 ticket price includes a special-themed menu (with dessert!) from Chef Pacini, and an intimate production of Blood Relations performed by some of Fresno’s finest actors. Did we mention all proceeds go to a good cause? Please visit bringsamanthahome.com for information about our fundraising efforts.
